Packaging Supervisor || $28 an Hour || Boise, Idaho

Capital Employment Group is hiring for a Packaging Supervisor for one of Boise’s leading lotion, fragrance, and scented products!

The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all people and processes within the Packaging Department. This includes managing team morale, labor efficiency, equipment uptime, area safety, and adherence to the production schedule. The supervisor plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the department runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals.

 

Shift: Monday-Friday (6AM-2:30 PM)

Pay: $24-$26/hr +$2 for bilingual

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Workplace
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
  • Direct, Schedule, and Supervise Packaging Personnel
  • Lead the daily activities of the packaging crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate with Production and Warehouse Teams
  • Align packaging operations with upstream and downstream departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Execute Production Schedule
  • Carry out the daily/weekly packaging schedule and provide actionable feedback to the planning team before and after execution.
  • Train and Develop Workforce
  • Ensure all team members are properly trained and continuously developing to support departmental growth and succession planning.
  • Ensure SOP Compliance
  • Enforce strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.

  • Monitor and improve labor and equipment efficiency metrics.

  • Reduce misprocessing incidents and ensure product is packaged accurately and consistently.
