Capital Employment Group is excited to introduce you to your next great career! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our R&D team in Beautiful Boise Idaho! The R&D team specializes in formulas for the personal care industry.
As a Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for directly supporting the formulating chemist through a variety of tasks including making lab batches, documenting and communicating formula observations, R&D data entry, product evaluation, maintaining chemical and supply inventory and maintaining lab organization and cleanliness. The ideal candidate is highly detail orientated, comfortable multi-tasking and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Make lab batches
· Document and communicate batch observations and concerns
· Product evaluation – qualitative & quantitative
· Maintain lab organization and cleanliness
· Maintain chemical and supply inventory
· R&D data entry
Requirements:
· Detail oriented
· Self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction
· Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in fast paced environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Capable of utilizing senses for product evaluation (color perception, smell, feel)
· Work accurately with calculations (ratios, decimals, percentages as related to formulas)
· Computer skills – Word, Excel and Outlook
We Offer:
· 2 weeks’ vacation + 6 paid holidays

Expected Hours: 40 per week, no weekends
