Field Technician (Installer)

Basic Function:
- Work with Warehouse Manager to schedule and load delivery trucks.
- Load and off-load assembled and modular office furniture including desks, files, chairs and panels.
- Interact and clearly communicate with customers on-site to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to troubleshoot during installation process.
- Work quickly and accurately to accomplish installation schedule.
- Capable of reading and understanding installation drawings and instructions.
Personal and Interpersonal Skills:
- Is professional in appearance and manners, with good oral and written communication skills.
- Has physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment.
- Has strong work ethic and very ethical approach to the business; is punctual and self-motivated; has the ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts.
Technical and Product Skills:
- Is mechanically adept and knows how to safely use tools and equipment.
- Is capable of all installation processes: unloading, loading, staging, uncartoning, assembly, cleanup and detailing, lock installation, etc.
- Can read plans, blueprints and elevations, and understands architectural and furniture symbols.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 75lbs.
- Clean driving record
- Able to pass a drug test
- Able to pass a background check
- Ability to work overtime when necessary (up to 50 hours/week)
- Furniture installation or construction experience preferred
