Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, entry-level Powder Coating Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with general shop or manufacturing experience who is looking to grow in a hands-on environment. Previous powder coating experience is preferred but not required—we’re willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of parts for powder coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, hanging)
- Load and unload parts onto racks or conveyor systems
- Support powder coating process, including operating spray equipment (with training)
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or shop environment required
- Powder coating or painting experience preferred
- Ability to work with hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
