Summary
The job of a packaging crew member is to perform any and all tasks associated with filling and packing. All work is done in accordance to the schedule in a timely and accurate manner all the while adhering to all company safety and regulatory policies.
Specific responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work place
- Perform area specific tasks with direction from packaging supervisor
- Safely and diligently operate equipment and hand tools
- Run all orders in accordance to the customers’ requests provide on the QA Run Sheet
- Provide feedback to packaging supervisor and planning to assist in maximizing efficiency and effectiveness of the production department
- Insure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs)
- Be timely and always act in the best interest of the company
- Be precise and careful when handling and reporting inventory
- Always act in the best interest of the company
- Perform work in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures
