Summary
The Packaging Equipment Tech. oversees all the equipment used to manufacture product in the packaging area. This includes troubleshooting, setup, maintenance, and efficiency of the equipment. Must understand production efficiency, resource constraints, line balancing techniques, and be willing to provide continual improvement.
Specific responsibilities
1. Maintain a safe and clean work place
2. Must troubleshoot equipment issues on a daily basis
3. Responsible for equipment uptime and timely production change overs.
4. Coordinate schedules and timing with the packaging supervisor
5. Work with the Maintenance Manager to solve major and long term equipment issues
6. Insure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
7. Works as part of the packaging crew when all equipment related tasks are completed
8. Responsible for continuous improvement ideas and implementation in the packaging area

Shift : 6AM-4:30 Mon-Thursday
Pay: $24/hr
