Forklift Operator/Material Handler

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our dynamic clients in the Nampa and Boise areas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials using various types of equipment, including forklifts, cherry picker, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. .

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
• Perform order picking using barcode scanning systems and order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage inventory levels through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and updating warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and forklift safety protocols during all equipment operation and materials handling activities
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
• Conduct routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing storage areas, stacking pallets safely, and maintaining a clean work environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts (including lift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks) in a warehouse or distribution setting
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management practices, and barcode scanning for logistics
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling with proper technique
• Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments or inventory levels
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse supervision is highly desirable

Boise: Shift 6AM-4:30 (Monday-Friday)

Boise: Shift 9am – 6pm (Monday-Friday)

Nampa: 7AM-3PM (Monday-Friday)
