Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain processes to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods. You will work closely with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations and maintain inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Oversee supplier management, maintaining strong relationships to facilitate smooth operations.
- Create ghost box requests
- Print checks for the day’s contracts and 2nd half payments that are good to be sent out.
- Handle materials handling processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor profit loss related to logistics operations and implement strategies for cost reduction.
- Schedule UPS pickups when sellers are ready for pickups
- Go through active freight deals. Touch base with agents to find out when pickups will occur.
- Collaborate with distribution center staff to streamline operations and improve service levels.
Experience
- Proven experience in transportation management or logistics coordination is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety protocols in a warehouse environment is desirable.
- Proficiency in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or similar software is an asset.
Pay: $18-$20
Hours : 8:30-4:30 (half day on Friday)
