Job description:
Primary responsibilities will be performing the quality checks on our packaging lines, getting work orders ready, signing off pallets, closing the work orders and other tasks/duties assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Gather information needed and communicate to packaging techs.
- Sign off start of production run for correct, weight, product, & components.
- Perform in-process checks during production run to ensure accurate specifications.
- Work with a 3rd party to complete microbiology testing on finished goods.
- Check quality specifications for case packs, pallets, and their quantities
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be bilingual in the Spanish language
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Computer skills as well as knowledge of sending & receiving emails.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Docs.
- Strong written communication skills are a MUST.
- Basic math skills such as adding/subtracting & percentages
- Ability to manage quality checks on multiple lines effectively.
- Attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
