We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for a manufacturing company in Canyon County, ID.
Job Description:
Carry out various duties, tasks, and responsibilities to ensure machines and equipment in our manufacturing and warehousing facilities are operating at peak efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that safety standards are maintained while performing duties
- Conducts routine checks on electrical components including continuity, fuses, and switches
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as motors, transformers, wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
- Diagnose, repair, or replace worn parts in machine and equipment
- Ensure that the facility areas and work environment are free of hazardous objects and substances
- Assist in supervising the activities of external technicians or sub-contractors
- Submit reports on work activities and progress of work to the supervisor
- May be required to assist in the movement of materials and labor for projects
- Assist Operations Manager to meet production deadlines
- Repair Sonic/Spin Welders and other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Advanced knowledge of PM program and timely completion
- Advanced troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and diagnoses
- Ability to read and write schematics
- Injection mold cleaning
- Assist in injection mold change over & set up
- Experience in machine shop and tool operation is a plus
- Plastic injection mold experience, preferred
Qualifications:
- 5 years in maintenance, mechanical repairs, electrical and/or mechanical experience required
- Must be capable of lifting 50lbs or more
- High level of integrity, creativity, persistence, and personal drive
- Ability to work and communicate with people at all levels across organization
- Extremely organized and able to work on various tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a performance driven operation
